AMANU is a reflection of my childhood in Africa. When I think of home, I think of long walks through the tall grass and acacia trees, our feet covered in red dust. Bright orange sunsets with the song of cicadas in the distance as the light faded and the bats came out.
All this inspired the intrinsic mindfulness, aesthetic and respect that is at the heart of AMANU: Use only what we need. Be resourceful. Consciously honor the place, tradition, and planet we are part of.
